This past weekend, we headed down to the International Surfing Association's Word Surfing Games in Huntington Beach, CA to watch the Jamaican surf team (keep the Cool Runnings jokes to yourselves) do their thing. The team didn't place, but JSA president Billy "Mystic" Wilmot took some time afterwards to explain the importance of his team's mission: letting Jamaican youth see professional competition as a positive outlet and something to strive for. Nice up! And trust, the team will be back at the beach this time next year. Click "more" to check additional photos from Sunday.
