When you think of legendary musicians worthy of a biopic, artists such as Ray Charles, Johnny Cash and Jim Morrison have all deserved motion pictures. Up next it looks to be The Dirt, based on the notorious autobiography of Motley Crue.
Although honestly I could pretty much care less about the film, one confirmed cameo did catch my eye. According to Rolling Stone, actor Christopher Walken is making a camero appearance in the film as Ozzy Osbourne. The film may be worth seeing for this alone. Crue frontman Vince Neil also mentioned that Val Kilmer may appear as David Lee Roth.
We were hoping that Crue members Neil, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx would be portrayed by amusing actors as well, but unfortunately this will not be the case. Unknowns will star as the band in the film, which is currently expected for a 2008 release.
