As promised, the audio component for FADER 42 is now up, a DJ-mixed podcast of music from F42 to go along with the PDF download: jams from cover dudes Mavado (pictured above) and Vietnam, Carl Craig’s cheeky beats under the Tres Demented alias, Malajube’s French Canadian riffery, Bmore rap from Duece Tre Duece and more. Sign up for our pordcasts on iTunes to get it, or subscribe via yr favorite RSS reader here. You can also download the F42 audio by itself here, and get the full tracklist after the jump.

Our good friends / associates over at Free Darko are, as always, wylding (with a little help from wylding’s first cousin: ballin). We could link to Free Darko dribbling circles around knock-kneed Other Sports Blogs damn near every day (are there other sports blogs?), but today is xtra appropriate both because of the music-relevant slant to the current top post, and because that post is, for all you FD virgins, something of a reiteration of their frighteningly-logicked mission statement. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but today, Free Darko Friends, yall are gonna have to make do with a link. It’s Monday, and we can’t think that hard.

New video for “I Am Somebody” from the Ed Bangiest dude of them all, DJ Mehdi. Looks like next year we’re going to get another Kanye tantrum.

Wild Promo

Neither comes in medium, FYI. You can’t tell from our spazztacular animation, but the Jeezy promo tee is manufactured by Convertible Bertt (as in “I touch work” – although we’re fairly certain that Bert didn’t have a MySpace.)

Dungeon Family member (and FADER fave) the Witchdoctor dropped an album last week called King of the Beasts, for sale only online through his website and MySpace page. He’s offering up an autograph on each limited edition copy, and various methods of payment are honored including credit card, Western Union, or cash through a phone line (ask for Witchdoctor). You can pre-order his next release The God is Good Movement, available December 25 on MySpace, and cop his book of “wisdom, truth, life, spirituality and danger” called Diary of the American Witch Doctor: Volume I . We suggest you buy five of each. We checked in with EJ around this time last year, and you can read the whole story after the jump.
