Preview New Tracks From James Hall

I was on the phone the other day with a friend of mine who asked if I had heard the new tracks from former Pleasure Club frontman James Hall. It had been a couple of months since I last checked Hall's MySpace page, so I ran over to my laptop and gave the tunes a listen. The two new tracks are "Deadbeat Brother" and "Consenting Adults," both of which I would assume will be on his upcoming new solo album.

Hall has been keeping fans up to speed on the progress of his work through a studio video diary, which I mentioned back in October. He doesn't offer any release information as of yet, but from the little bits of music he has posted so far, this is going to be a killer record. "Consenting Adults" just happens to feature Jimmy Gnecco from Ours on backing vocals, and damn does it sound great.

As I have said before, James Hall has a stage presence like nobody else I have ever witnessed in person, so lets hope that some live dates will appear before long. Lets also hope that we don't have to wait too much longer to hear the full album. In the meantime, roll over to his MySpace page to give his new tunes a listen. While you are at it, if you are unfamiliar with the greatness of the now defunct Pleasure Club, give them a listen as well to see what you missed out on.
