We’re not gonna name names, but someone attempted to leave the new Chemical Brothers 12″ in the giveaway pile. UNFOCUSED! We rescued it last night, and can say with confidence that the little zips and zaps of blog buzz on “Electronic Battle Weapon #8 & #9″ were totally justified. “#8″ is a slow building rock number that harkens back to their Noel Gallagher days (2007 is the new 1997! Also: EYEBROWS!) but “#9″ is the deal-sealer, a squelching, stomping monster of a clubstrumental that lets all our Parisian producer pals know who’s still the boss(es). God saved the Queen like a motherfucker! Grab one of these however you can.
