Experimental, (mostly) instrumental, indie rock/synth pop veterans Trans Am will release their eighth Thrill Jockey album on February 20. Called Sex Change, it was conceived, written, recorded and mixed in only three weeks... so it sounds like a big piece of shit. Just kidding! Haha. The album mixes and mashes genres into an upbeat, dancey, full of fun collection of songs that will have the hipsters and indie kids shaking their asses for hours. Trans Am will play three shows in February in support of the album, beginning February 22 in Buffalo, NY, continuing on to Pittsburgh for a show at Carnegie Mellon, then to New York City for two shows at the Knitting Factory. A full-on tour will then begin on April 10. Details below.
