Lord Of The Manor
- story THE FADER
Give an English boy a shearling coat and he’ll invariably wax lyrical about cockney rhyming slang, market stall side-hustles and the patron saint of all wideboys–Derek Trotter aka Delboy from the cult classic ’80s sitcom Only Fools and Horses (If you haven’t gotten with BBC America’s 80s re-run schedule then you should). Brit designer Kim Jones, who showed his collection for the first time in NYC ever, treated his guests to cheeky re-interpretations of the Delboy look–two-tone sheepskin jackets accessorized with white-on-white kicks (a chav favorite), crowning glory spiked hats and (wait for it) a winter white shearling onesie!!! Even though some the models were too short to be appreciated from the second row, these boys had swagger for days– like younger, hotter versions of KJ himself.
