Blood Infusion

UK-based digital record store Boomkat recently started striking deals with independent lables to make their entire catalogues available in CD-quality (320 kbps), DRM-free (no restrictions) digital format. The first few to sign up were Euro-electronic mostly, but, as of today, the loving and meticulous reggae and dub reissue imprint Blood & Fire will have all 45 of its releases available, including hi-res artwork and readables. You really can't miss, but if you don't already have Heart of the Congos, Max Romeo's Open The Iron Gate (above), or the 51-track Big Youth collection, those would be a good place to begin your jamming. Yabby You is worth it for the cover design alone.
