G-g-g-g-g-U-Schnipp! This shit doesn’t even make sense anymore, but Matthew Schnipper’s G installment of Schnipper Month at The FADER does, as does his continuing installation of Schnipper’s A-Z at the Apartment on Crosby Street in New York City. For the sex (no sex, actually), drugs (prescription) and rock ‘n’ roll (kind of) filled G post, make the everloving jump.
Gang of Four, Entertainment LP
I bought this record in a tiny barn on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard. My cousin was there; he bought a Lakeside record. Spike Lee was in the store, too. I remember that day because we have photos. I was on Prednisone, a bitter tasting steroid, and my face was fat. There is a picture of me standing on a pier holding this LP, chunky and wearing cargo shorts.
