We’re in Austin, and it is instantly Jam City. Not knowing what to expect but knowing they’d played an early date at Erol Alkan’s Durrr night (never a bad look), UK scrisco (screamo/disco) killers The Foals strolled onstage at The Fort on Wednesday and shook monitors and early skeptics with their high-hung guitar skronk and skinny-assed drum-pummeler.
