Disclosure: We kinda had too much wine—er whiskey—er, beer? (it’s unclear after a certain point) to get likkle Canon Digital Elf jamming photos like we could/should have because there was an absolute and utter POWER PARTY at the Bowery Ballroom last night, courtesy of our dudes Battles. We’ve been sitting in our respective offices pumping “Atlas” and donning the Highly Focused Sonic Freakout Mask and feeling kinna weird about it—until our brothers played the song in the middle of their set last night and every American/Non American in the room was not only wearing the same Highly Focused Sonic Freakout Mask but also the Highly Focused Sonic Freakout JUMPSUIT. Ian and Tyondai were wylding out in front of laptops! There was a sea of bobbing heads! It’s offishall: Nerds—1, Haters—0!!!!
