We stumbled upon a pretty interesting interview with Stewart Copeland, drummer for The Police. With their recent reunion and monster-sized tour, it is fitting that Copeland would unleash his latest documentary, Everyone Stares / The Police Inside Out. The film, all from the Super 8 camera used by Copeland, gives us an inside look at the legendary band's path to success from the eye of their drummer.
In this interview, he chats about going through the twenty-year old footage, the band's recent reunion, the cause of their break-up and much more. It also offers up some interesting photos of The Police, including a few stills taken from the documentary. To read the interview, head over to PingMag.jp. A direct link to the interview is below.
