Audio: Killer Mike “Top Shotta”
- story THE FADER
A few weeks ago we posted Killer Mike’s contribution to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie soundtrack “Blam Blam”, a nice likkle West Indian flavored joint produced by St. Kitts’ finest (only?) production duo Smiff & Cash. They’re the same dudes who supplied Mike with the beat for his rant-rave “That’s Life” from I Pledge Allegiance, and they’ve cooked up another one for him that combines the reggae styles of the former with Mike’s hilarious fire and brimstone sermonizing of the latter. It’s called “Top Shotta,” samples Bob Marley and we like it.
