This weekend in Norway, Willie D of the Geto Boys kicks off a two week European tour. The Houston vet popped up in the news earlier this month when he weighed in on the Imus controversy, but lets face it, he said everything that needed to be said almost twenty years ago (”Every racist in America can suck my dick/ And while you’re doin it, listen to this/ Fuck you bitch!”). Anyway, if you find yourself in Norway tonight, check out Willie playing at the Bergen Fest at Dovregubbens Hall in Greighallen, opening for Saigon and Little Brother – both of whom, it must be noted, have yet to write a song as good as “Mind Playing Tricks On Me.”
