During a cab ride home last night, we were surprised to hear snippets of ESG being played on 1010 WINS. It turns out that the legendary girl group’s drummer, Valerie Scroggins, is being accused of defrauding the New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The MTA even sent investigators to videotape ESG concerts in Amsterdam and Dublin (STOP SNITCHING) to bolster their case. Scroggins’ lawyer claims there’s no shoulder movement in the artist’s drumming that “conflicts with the medical diagnosis” for her worker’s compensation, so off to court they go. Shit, even if she did scam the system…ESG wrote “UFO”! Drop the gavel, let it slide, and try to make the JMZ run on time, doodz.
