Forget the rappers for a second, and just give some props to Dangerous LLC for flipping Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet’s soul-crushing end theme music from Requiem for a Dream on this new track from Maino and ‘em, “We Hit Um.” Hearing the soundtrack makes our skin crawl – although most of that credit is due to the lingering nightmares the song triggers of Stanley B Herman, the “ass-to-ass guy” in Requiem. Horrorcore!
