NYC: Pull It Together

July 18, 2007

The homies at Chelsea gallery
Taxter & Spengemann
always take the art road less traveled (ex:
Xavier Cha’s
human sized fruit-filled cornucopia that she buried herself in for several hours every day) so we generally try to stay on top of (pause) anything they do. Tomorrow night is your last chance to see a live performance by “irregular hardcore band” the Final Run Ins—amidst their wylded out installation downstairs, which features elements of the “Louisville prank scene and the shadowy backroom of the Hong Kong restaurant.” The press release also says the chick from NME called them “nine kinds of ridiculous” so it’s pretty much settled that we’ll be there at 8. (Flyer after the jump.)
