Listen to MIA’s New Album Kala (As If You Haven’t Already)
- story THE FADER
MIA is streaming her new album Kala on MySpace. Now, if you have already “streamed” it onto your hard drive from somewhere else on the internet, this may not be a big deal, but for the thousands, maybe MILLIONS of people who barely know who she is but might buy a physical copy of Kala, it’s a great opportunity to preview the album before they spend money on it. Not that that is anything particularly groundbreaking—previewing and such— but we are all about buying CDs as they creep towards obsolescence. Kinda like how we bought all that lead paint in ‘79, and look how well that turned out. Just saying, invest in Kala, it’s more fun than a deadly toy car.

WHAT THE FUCK fuck your fucking redesign.
This was on the main page and I thought MIA had a new album that had leaked and I’d somehow missed all that.

With a little less fervor, I agree. That sucked.

Sorry, it was a heat of the moment kind of thing.
I like the redesign otherwise.
