Matthew Dear, whose exceptional techno pop album Asa Breed we praised a few months ago, is hitting the road in October backed by a live band and joined by labelmates the Mobius Band (download their new single from that MySpace). This is exciting because dudes behind computers are boring. Kidding. We are dudes behind computers and we are party animals! Anyhow, Dear also has a new single from Breed coming out in October, with remixes by M.A.N.D.Y., Koze and the super-not-boring-dudes Hot Chip, but we've got the Hot Chip remix right now for your listening pleasure. The Chippers take Dear's dark and shifting original to Lighttimesville, changing his pulses and snarls to some neon lullaby styles. Not a bad thing. Check Dear's MySpace for more new and old jams and check after the jump for his tour dates.
