Larger-than-life Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz is in town this week from Paris, and his amazing gigantic bowtie wearing ways seem to be rubbing off on the rest of mankind. Big, velvety and creamy white, this bow tie looks like it might have once hung in John Travolta’s Saturday Night Fever closet, right next to his pale blue tux. Thrown on just casual though, with jeans, cardie and a pair of tasseled loafers, this gent’s sartorial reinvention is the kind of thing Alber would probably cosign.
