This year's mtvU Woodie Awards is nearly upon us. Unlike the award show from the network's big brother, the Woodies do honor plenty of credible artists that are worthy of a bit of extra attention. This is their fourth year producing this awards show, aimed at college music fans across the nation. In fact, the nomination process is funneled through the College Media Network, containing more than five hundred online student newspapers and college radio DJs.
The award presentation will take place on November 15, airing on mtvU and mtvU.com at 8pm ET. For those of us not currently in college, we can watch the show as an encore on MTV starting at 12:30am ET that same night. And the nominees are...
