Live: Yeasayer

October 01, 2007

Last week we headed to the hot Cakeshop basement with a whole lot of people to see Yeasayer, who have a Gen F in FADER 49, coming soon to your newsstand/iTunes. The band ran through jams from their new album All Hour Cymbals (out later this month), and despite only being four members deep made a cohesive racket that somehow sounded like Timbaland fronted by an entire group of campfire singers (also known as awesome.) We stood to the side of the nonexistent stage and jammed out with the band until their set was over and we were left standing next to some speakers and kind of still residually jamming. Check out some more pictures after the jump and scroll down a bit for a stream of Yeasayer's "Sunrises."
