Live: LA’s Detour Festival

October 09, 2007

This past Saturday several blocks of downtown Los Angeles that no one really uses much on the weekend were closed for the 2nd annual Detour Festival. We headed over to the big old block party to drink some beer and eat some pizza and watch some bands, including some awesome veterans of our pages. The Cool Kids' cardigan game was focused (as was their use of west coast classics "Fuck the Police" and "Deep Cover"), the Aliens were even weirder than we thought they would be, the Noisettes made a great racket, the Ed Banger folks continued on their path of destruction, Autolux emerged from their space cave, and Justice brought the noise. After the jump, see photos of these acts and more.
