Audio: Pieces of Peace, “Pollution”

Quannum Projects/Cali-Tex just released the nearly lost album by seminal Chicago soul band Pieces of Peace, some of whose members eventually went on to record and perform with Michael Jackson, Syl Johnson and Earth, Wind & Fire after the Pieces' demise. DJ Shadow, Dante Carfagna and Rob Sevier found the album somewhere, most likely in Shadow's massive library, and are giving it the old spit shine. We've got the vocal version of "Pollution" which we will imagine Al Gore dancing terribly to for the rest of the day. If "Pollution" is your jam, you can pick up the rest of Pieces of Peace right now on on iTunes.
