White Stripes And Beck Join Forces

Some pretty interesting news from the White Stripes recently appeared on their official website. They revealed the mystery collaboration that we mentioned earlier this month, which happens to be with Beck! Jack and Meg White went back in the studio to record three new tracks, along with a new version of "Conquest," all of which was produced by Beck.

The "Conquest" single will be released on three different 7" colored vinyl records, in traditional White Stripes colors of red, white and black. Not only were the tracks co-produced by Beck, as well as recorded in his living room, but he also contributed vocals and piano to "It's My Fault For Being Famous" and slide guitar on "Honey, We Can't Afford To Look This Cheap."

Ah yes, and then there is the video for "Conquest." Jack trained with famed bullfighter Dennis Borba to make his performance on the Diane Martel directed clip all the more authentic. It will premiere on November 26 on MTV. You'll be able to pick up the vinyl here in the US on December 18.
