The closest we have come to covering boxing on The Tripwire was our review of The National’s Boxer album, but did anyone catch the Floyd Mayweather v. Ricky Hatton fight last week? Well apparently a lot of UK music fans did. The trend this past week around England at various rock shows has been for the crowds to bust out in the unofficial “Ricky Hatton cheer.” We’re hoping to see this turn into an Oasis b-side in the New Year!
