Recently overheard from the mouth of some dude wandering the labyrinthine halls of the Levi’s®/FADER Fort: “I tried to interview YACHT, but I hit a wall because I’ve been drinking Sparks!” True, both libations and Q&A opportunities are flowing here in Austin, but YACHT’s day-ending set reminded us what this shit is really about: WILD DANCE MOVES. Jona and Claire got loose onstage with some jazzercize contortions, some mic-twirling, some epileptic floor-humping, even a little voguing. “You can live any way you want!” they shouted into the Texas twilight – good advice for the rest of the week and the rest of our lives.
