Having fallen hard for Jeremy Jay’s fluttery-fantastic set yesterday, we felt compelled to relive the magic in the dark. So we tromped twenty blocks uptown to the the University of Texas quad where the omnipresent Todd P was throwing his MIDNIGHT UNAMPLIFIED ACOUSTIC BBQ (sans the BBQ’n). We sat cross-legged in the grass with two-hundred fellow lovers, soaking up quick, quiet performances from Air Waves, The Muslims and about three bazillion other bands. The BBQ was slated to ramble on until 5am, but after Jay’s 1:30 performance, we headed home for sweet dreams.
