Wandering into the backyard of Austin's Beauty Bar before Tough Alliance, we saw rapt folks staring at a scary singer with scary eyes and claw hands. Super tantalizing because she was super frightening, we found out this was Duchess Says. And though listening to them does essentially nothing to convey how quietly offensive and brutally rad this woman (the Duchess?) is, this Juan Maclean remix posted on RCRD LBL doesn't try, and the disconnect is a good mnemonic device.
