Video: Lykke Li, “I’m Good, I’m Gone”

It is impossible for us to love Lykke Li more. Imagine you have a big pretty empty water glass. Then you have a lot of really crystal clear water. You take the water from the pitcher and keep pouring and pouring and then the glass is so fill the meniscus is convex and brimmed but there’s no overage because that wouldn’t be tidy. That is how we love Lykke Li, clean and full. Her new video for “I’m Good, I’m Gone” gives her a decisive part in her hair and the opportunity to dance like a smooth eel. It also gives us a chance to listen to that chorus again. It’s so fast. We’re so slow. It’s good that we can meet in the middle, Venn diagram of wants and needs fulfilled.
