Audio: Hot Chip Live On Minneapolis Public Radio
- story THE FADER
The obvious excitement of this set is Hot Chip’s cover of “Nothing Compares 2U” and it delivers with the jazzy smoke Prince first offered the song with. But it’s their intensely bare and bummed twang and strum of “Made in the Dark” that is most compelling, and is possibly the most unhappy song about sex ever played, a strong feat itself. It must be cold in Minnesota. But pretty.
