New Yorkers we have some bad news for you, you're going to have to make some hard decisions tonight because there are some serious shows happening. First of all there is Feist at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Feist does not currently have a new album out, but everyone in the world has a crush on her so you should go. What Feist does have though, is a duet with the Constantines covering the Bee Gees by way of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers' "Islands in the Stream." You can listen to that here. Alternately, if you want to get a little weird you can hit up Southpaw and catch Gang Gang Dance and High Places, two bands that probably should put out another record but have yet to do so. If that doesn't float your boat you can catch Santogold at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square for FREE in like an hour and a half. Free! It kinda snuck up on us, but Santi's new album comes out today and it is jamming. We've seen her perform a whole bunch in the last couple months and it is consistently great, everyone should go. ALSO: We mentioned The Verve the other day because their performance at Coachella was pretty stunning and loud, and if you couldn't make it out to the hot desert in the middle of nowhere you can catch The Verve at The WaMu theater at Madison Square Garden in an area that probably has air conditioning but will still be really hot.
