Maybe it’s all the hangtime with Ryan McGinley, but Sigur Rós’s new joint is sounding really fun. And not “fun for Sigur Rós fun” but actual factual fun. There are handclaps, la-las and a bpm way far above the usual hypothermic thump of their typical songs. We are into it! Hopefully this isn’t an anomaly on their new record and we will be finally be able to play some Rós jams at our next bar mitzvah gig.
