Tim Williams Speaks About Recovery From Surgery

Ever since the very first time we were played music from Tim Williams, we've been huge fans here at The Tripwire. We liked him so much we made him one of our first On The Cover artists and even had him perform a Tripwire Acoustic Session. Quite a bit has happened to Williams over the past few months, which he documented in a recent journal post. In it he discusses injuries, heart surgeries, haircuts and much more. Here it is:

"Moved to Nashville. Broke my wrist. Played shows in Texas anyway because I ain't no pussy. Went to NYC and had heart surgery. Recovered in Baltimore. Back to Nashville to write lots of new songs and make lots of new friends. Traveled back to NYC 2 weeks ago and underwent 2nd and final heart surgery. Spent 5 wonderful days in the hospital. Currently in Baltimore wishing my ribs would melt back together quicker. Read, read, and read some more. (Another Bullshit Night In Suck City, Hunger, Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo) Listened to lots of music. (Jack Rose - Kensington Blues, Bonnie "Prince" Billy - Lie Down In The Light (especially "Missing One"), Sun Kil Moon - April) Cut my hair short. Grew my beard long."
