Freeload: Slim feat. Jadakiss and Freeway, “So Fly (Remix)”

Our love for the S, the L, the I, the M is no secret. Whether solo or with 112, his whispery, high-pitched croon is one of pop’s most underappreciated voices, falling somewhere between bedroom player smoothness and a Hanna-Barbera cartoon based around the 1997 Bad Boy Records roster (we saw the pilot in a fever dream once, it’s basically Snorks with Black Rob). We kinda wish that unique voice was a little more prominent on the remix for his new single, “So Fly” (check the original and more tunes at his MySpace) but beggars can’t be choosers. Free and J-To-The-Mwah make up for it with little singsongy flows of their own, plus Jada says “bozak” on his second R&B remix in a row. It’s kind of cute. Using the word “bozak,” not said bozak, which we can’t report on conclusively. Pause?
