We got in early on El Guincho with a multitude of blog posts, office plays and a general uptick in our respect for parrots (so underrated). We saw him in Williamsburg. It was great. We asked him to make us a mix. Again, great. And then we put a big, lovely feature on him in issue 54. All of that on the strength of an album released lightly around Europe. That album, Alegranza! is now going out to the rest of the world in October and this is one of the many great songs from it.
