Freeload: Kardinal Offishall f. The-Dream, “Gimme Some”
- story THE FADER
For far too many, attempting to bridge the gap between dancehall and hip hop has been an exercise in humility. Our man Kardi, however, has always walked the line gracefully, and in some cases glamorously like on this Dream collab. We could talk about how the sprightly voices of Akon and the Dream can make Kardi sound great, but that would imply that he wasn’t already great. Despite it’s confusing title, “Not For Sale” is indeed for sale this Tuesday, September 9th. Get that shit!
PS Why doesnt everyone let Wayne Marshall pacecar their songs?
