Roots Manuva‘s album Slime and Reason is coming out in the US at the end of September, but because we love to ply you guys with incentives to actually buy things, here is a 15-minute sampler of the album mixed by Roots’ longtime tour DJ MK. On it you can hear how the album is a little bit weirder than we’ve come to expect from the UK hip hop vet, partially due to the younger and more radical choices for production. Bassline kid Toddla T has a handful of tracks including early favorite “Buff Nuff” and Metronomy handle “Let the Spirit,” which we’ve got the video for above as well.
