- story THE FADER
Baltimore’s Darkroom Productions just started un-unreleasing tracks from the archives of their recordings for The Wire soundtracks. As Jamal Roberts, one half of DP with Juan Donovan, explains on his
blog, this one was recorded in early 2006 for Season 4 but was didn’t make the cut. On it, Wale addresses the unique brand of hatred prevalent in the DC area when a local dude starts making good.
DC will have its chance to make up for it on October 17th when Wale performs at Howard Homecoming.
