Believe it or not, today marks the one year anniversary of Disco D’s passing. In that year, his influence has permeated even more music, and one of his former protégés, Benny Blanco, has embarked on a solo production career, most notably producing Bangers & Cash with Spank Rock. Tonight, along with the Sweatshop Labor dudes, Blanco will be spinning jams all night at Home Sweet Home (131 Chrystie St) to honor Disco D’s incredible musical legacy.
