Video: Stars Of The Lid Are Releasing A Film And We’re Going To Take A Nap While Watching It
- story THE FADER
Last we checked, we’ve listened to Stars of the Lid’s Stars of the Lid and Their Refinement of the Decline approximately 2,000 times, and we actually couldn’t tell you what 98% of it sounds like. That’s because we put it on before going to bed and are usually passed out by the ten-minute mark. This trailer pretty accurately depicts what is going on in our minds while listening to the band: candles burning, people getting their violins ready, that kind of thing. But then at about 4:12 seconds in, some dude starts furiously playing the guitar and our minds are officially blown because the music that lulls us to sleep comes from a guy who looks like he’s having convulsions.
