Video: Benoit Pioulard, “Ragged Tint”

When we last checked in with Benoit Pioulard he was hanging out in Portland, working at a restaurant, recording music and spending a lot of time on his bike. Now, just in time for the release of his new album, Temper, Pioulard has created a video for “Ragged Tint,” pairing soothing vocals with speedy finger-plucked guitar. When we first heard it, we were thinking the song would be a great soundtrack to nightmares about being chased, and it turns out we weren’t too far off because the video features Pioulard running really fast against the backdrop of a pretty amazing Oregon sunset. If we were him, we’d get back on the bike (it’s faster, dude), but since we’re not him, we’re just going to go ahead and recommend that you hop on your own bikes (or run really fast) to the record store to buy Temper on Tuesday.
