Live: One Step Beyond at The American Museum of Natural History

On Friday night we put on our dancing shoes and took the train uptown for the latest installment of the One Step Beyond series at The American Museum of Natural History, where DJ Mehdi and The Rapture’s Mattie Safer played classic tracks for the bedecked crowd (hello, sequined tops). As we danced around the moon rocks, we noticed there were quite a few people getting dangerously close on the floor. It was like a scene from Barbarella in there. Although we can’t be sure any interstellar connections were made, we might try our luck at romance at the next OSB, when Nick Catchdubs and Michna take over DJ duties on November 21st.
