The Range Life Entertainment Film Tour
- story THE FADER
On a recent trip to San Francisco, we caught up with the Range Life Entertainment Fall Tour, a roving mini film festival led by Range Life (no relation to Range Life Records) founder Todd Sklar, whose college bro comedy, Box Elder, is one of four films screened at every stop. Sklar, along with five other dudes in a big white van, is driving to twenty-five different cities showing Range Life’s movies directly to the people and letting the people tell him directly what they think. It’s sort of an experiment in independent film distribution that doesn’t depend on Hollywood for recognition. Check out the films when they roll through your city, not just because they are good, but because Sklar might give you a hug whether you ask for one or not.
