If, like us, you’ve become totally obsessed, in ways both healthy and not, with Beyoncé’s amazing new video, then this post is for you. The clip up top is Gwen Verdon’s Bob Fosse-helmed “Mexican Breakfast”—the inspiration for “Single Ladies”’s choreography—which embraces empty studio space and a moving camera to redefine dance for the small screen. After catching it on YouTube, we decided to go deeper and in the opposite direction, and we have assembled a few of our favorite small space “Single Ladies”—from the pigeon-toed drag of Biodun to the 100% accurate Single Man—after the jump for your viewing pleasure.
