Every once in a while we hear something about a "white party" where people dress up in all white and do fabulous things. Diddy has one in the Hamptons. White party enthusiasts Performa are throwing a Bauhaus-inspired “Metal Ball” on November 15th in New York. The ball is a metal art themed fundraiser curated by art and fashion superstars like RoseLee Goldberg and Zac Posen.
Since we never leave the boroughs, we’ll be hitting up the pre-party “Metal Shop.” The pop-up store will be open November 7th through the 15th at the Issey Miyake flagship on Hudson and showcases such FADER favorites as Deka Ray and Patrik Ervell. All proceeds benefit the Performa '09 International Biennial of New Visual Art Performance. It might be a mouthful, but you don’t really need your mouth to buy awesome things for a good cause.
