Audio: Franz Ferdinand, “Ulysses”
- story THE FADER
BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe debuted the new Franz Ferdinand single “Ulysses” earlier today on his show—so a bunch of Brits have already heard it—but the band just put it up on their MySpace for the rest of the world to enjoy. We have to say that we are more into it than we thought we’d be. Maybe it’s because we haven’t listened to them in so long, or maybe it’s because Kapranos is back to writing jams like “Take Me Out.” Either way, check the similarity in the la-la chorus to Samberg’s ha-ha “Everyone’s A Critic” song from Saturday night. Coincidence? WE DOUBT IT.
