Gentle voiced Honey Owens (aka Valet) has coupled strum with leather drum twang for the group Nudge, who she often appears with. In this video for “War Song,” Owens wanders empires of vanity and McDonalds, interspersed with footage of bombs and a masked guitar player. Is this protest music or dejected acceptance?
