Minimalist Scandinavian label Filippa K opened its first US store yesterday in the heart of San Francisco’s shopping district, transforming a former bank into a calming space designed to rev up your shopping senses. Filippa Knutsson, the designer behind the label says she chose San Francisco because the city’s “sense of integrity and respect for nature appealed to her.” We can get with that, considering we know more than a few people named Sunshine who live there.
