Is Ryan Leslie a Sacha Baron Cohen Character?

From what we’ve heard about Cohen’s new film Bruno, he takes his comedic roles very, very seriously, so it would make sense if he’d decided to create a parody of a somewhat pompous R&B producer that he would then develop an entire persona and fake career around that character, including elaborate 1940’s-themed video remixes starring Tyson Beckford of his singles . What wouldn’t make sense, however, would be his ability to suddenly make good music, having been previously known only as a comedian. But, as they say, genius transcends.
